THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Showroom Manager to work within a high-performing showroom team in Melbourne.
Working closely with the Showroom Manager, you will play an integral role in driving sales performance, supporting the team and ensuring the showroom consistently delivers a premium customer experience.
This position would suit an experienced Store Leader who is ready to take the next step in their leadership career.
Day-to-Day
- Support the Showroom Manager in leading and motivating the retail team
- Drive sales results and consistently work towards commercial targets and KPIs
- Coach team members to improve customer service, sales capability and performance
- Lead by example on the showroom floor and contribute to a positive, accountable team culture
- Assist with daily showroom operations, rostering and team coordination
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion and productivity
- Support the delivery of an exceptional customer journey from initial enquiry through to sale
- Maintain high standards across showroom presentation, operations and compliance
- Assist with implementing business initiatives and commercial strategies
- Step into the Showroom Manager's responsibilities when required
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Previous experience in a retail leadership position, ideally within premium environment
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and deliver strong commercial results
- Experience coaching, motivating and developing a retail team
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Commercially minded with the ability to understand and act on sales and KPI performance
- Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
- A hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead from the front
- Experience within furniture, homewares or another premium retail environment will be highly regarded, but is not essential

SALARY
$75,000 - $78,000 Base + Super + Commissions
